Here I am thinking of what words to say
To explain how I been feeling this whole time you been away

I know you come to me when you need a helping hand
But each time you do there are some things you need to understand

I loved you boy for so many years
but you can't just keep coming here

You told me goodbye and didn't care that I cried
you made me hurt and feel confused
And left me so many times to feel used

And when I needed to talk to just hear how you felt
you pushed me away and told me to get out

I never stopped caring but my eyes are starting to open
And I'm starting to realize its time to give up on hoping

And you know whats funny is that I don't ask for too much
I just ask for you to tell me your feelings without a big fuss

But I must admit boy than I am starting to see
That even if you deny it you do need me

Cause in your heart you know that I was always there
But baby when I needed you, you acted like you didn't care

And now since your struggling and the people you put first don't offer to help
You should now feel what I have felt

Cause you were my best friend I thought I could always depend on you
But you proved that too many that that wasn't true

So now I come to a solid conclusion that I must abide by
And that is just let you go and just say goodbye
