Hope

by Danté   Nov 29, 2006

As I walked alone
I heaved a sigh
As speeding cars
Went rushing by

I felt the breeze
Of the cold, dark wind
It felt very strange
As if I\'d just sinned

I soon realized
That I had company
I wanted to believe
You\'ve come back to me

I quickly turned
But nothing was there
All that was clear
Was the suns bright flare

I continued walking
Looking over my shoulder
I miss you so much
My pain has never been greater
