His touch repelled my troubles His smile repaired my pain He could make my knees weak When he'd say my name His laughter made me smile His kindness touched me deep He actually made me believe That i was his to keep Then came the day He cracked my smile He through me in hells jail Without a fair trial He told me things I prayed were not true Without hearing him say it His eyes said "We're through" He never gave reason to me As to why he lied He never gave his shoulder For me to have cried His touch now "brings" my troubles His smile "brings" me pain My stomach ties in knots When I hear his name thanks for reading
