Sunset

by Kate   Nov 29, 2006

I sit on a grassy green hill over looking the brilliant blue ocean as the golden sun drops behind the horizon. The sky burst into an array of colors. Magnificent shades of red and violet with every color in between. As the wonderful sunshine fades and the glowing yellow orb seemingly sinks deeper and deeper into the depths of the glittering ocean, darkness creeps in and finally the sun is gone. Leaving darkness. I rotate my body 180 only to behold the glowing white moon. Oh and how beautiful that moon is! Only for a moment am I fantasized for i soon behold the seemingly glitter filled sky that is our wonderful galaxy. The many white, blue, and yellow stars are just as magnificent as our own glowing orb. I stand upon my grassy green hill only to walk down the other side and disappear into the pitch black darkness that is the night.
