Beauty of Nature

by Brittany C   Nov 29, 2006

There is a river,
Flowing gently by.
As leafs rustle,
in a gentle breeze.
A bird sings a sweet melody.

Sun rays gently kisses the faces of children.
The tall grasses waved gently in the breeze,
While animals scurry from tree to tree.
Everything is beautiful and peaceful.
In this graceful land of magical wonder.

    Excellent imagery.
Your words painted a wonderful picture.
What can I say; It was beautiful.

My apologies. I meant to say 'expand', not 'expant'.

    "As [leafs] rustle," -- leaves.

"[Sunrays] gently [kiss] the faces of children."

This little piece endears me completely. I always adore nature poems, and this is no exception. I, however, sense that you should expant this. It seems to be a mere portion of an even greater poem. Despite the seeming fact about an unnatural flow, the neat imagery pleases my mind'e eye exceedingly. That is just me, I suppose.

Nice work, nonetheless. I gave it a 5/5!
