A Flawless Face

by Amanda   Nov 30, 2006

This flawless face that you see before you,
It's innocence is not at all true.
I cover it up with tons of make-up,
So that hopefully you wont hear my heart break-up.
This mascara hides my streaming tears,
And this foundation conseals my screaming fears.
Anything to look like one of you, I'd give it all up to feel like you do.
And I laugh with you all at the popular table,
Knowing that you all gave me the wrong label.
Because none of you know the real me,
For all of you only see skin deep.
