Add it up to the end

by forsakendisaster   Nov 30, 2006

Back into the shadows,

just a little more,

Avoid their degrading stares,

The glares that haunt your every thought.

Slip a little further down,

into that lonely-dark abyss,

Prevent yourself from being hurt,

by the people that don't really care.

Cut yourself a little deeper,

Watch your sorrows spill away,

Punishment for being such a disgrace.,

To make sure you still exist.

Become invisible to the ones,

That were supposed to save you,

An inch of rope for every word left unsaid,

Another inch for everyone that let you down.

And when you can't take the pain of solitude anymore,

Hang yourself with every dream you wish you had never dreamt.

The silence that breaks your soul,

And the people that never came to save you.
