Films of break up

by forsakendisaster   Nov 30, 2006

The hardest part of goodbye

Are these memories that never seem to rest

They scratch at back of my eyes

Never allowing even an hours sleep

Playing over and over

Tearing my heart apart in the process

I cant stop this reel of film

It plays without stop

I watch and watch but can't

Seem to pause on the exact moment

That things went wrong

The volume can't catch

The shatter of my heart as it hits the ground

Or the crunch of the pieces

As he walks away, blood stained shoes.

A years worth of film,

and there is much more to be played

Rest from this drama can't be near

She waits for it to end

Or possibly melt under the heat of the light

And just when she thinks she may

Get an intermission from the long act

Theres the face that haunts her

Passes by like nothing ever happened

And she falls back into her seat

Tears in her eyes as she looks back at the screen

"Scene-:1 the meeting"
