There was that one time
When that boy emerged, you saved his life
And he changed yours
He was living in strife
He opened new doors
For you, showed you the way
He dared to care
He disappeared, as you knew he would
And left a pretty deep scar
You tried to prove him wrong
Be strong
And you came so far.
Im proud of who you are right now
And what you have just found
And even though youve never seen yourself as perfect
To me now, this is as perfect as its ever going to be.
