Dead Inside

by Caseyleigh   Nov 30, 2006

I'm still laying here
Right where you left me
Broken and defeated my soul taunts and betrays me...
I look alive but inside I'm dead,
Dead to the world,
I hear voices in my head
The wind chants and whispers to me,
Reminding me of how worthless you think I am,
I know I love you,
But I'm even more certain you hate me,
I'd do anything for you,
Which is why I'm not doing anything for me.
Although my body is thin, frail and screams defeat
Theres nothing to stop me from where I'm going.
I'm heading to you,
There cozy in your bed,
And I'm crying and crying
I cry until you suddenly turned round and then you said,
"I know what you want, I know why your here...
...But theres no way I can help the dead, my dear"
