It happened

It happened that night
so long ago
It was a sight
I had to go

I was at the scene of the crime
Where my best friend died
that was the time
That i cried

she was perfect in every way
she was a good friend
she always knew what to say
i stayed with her till the end

I just about lost it
when i saw here there
i knew she got hit
It was so unfair

that night i lost my best friend
someone must pay
I told her we were friends till the end
but i couldn't say
who it was
