Since You Died

by Cindy   Dec 1, 2006

Since you died and went away,
So did all my sunny days.
I use to spend my time,
waiting for you to come home.
Now I spend my days,
All alone.
Looking for love from anyone,

Someone to hug me, or hold me tight.
To tell me I love you in the middle of the night.
Someone to take the lonliness away,
Or just to brighten up my days.
No body could ever take your place,
Or the memories of your handsome face.
I know one day we will meet again,
When my new life in Heaven begins.

Short and lovely. again the loneliness stands out in this one but the hope at the end brightens up the poem. xx

A very heartbreaking write, yet it portrayed happiness too, that you would be with him in the end, together in Heaven. This was such a heartfelt poem, its so hard to lose someone you love, and you think why live anymore? But just stay strong and hold on. 5/5 from me, take care.

    Awwwh sweetie...
This was heartbreaking, yet hopeful at the same time.
I'm so sorry you have to continously (sp?) go through this pain.
    Things will get better!
    Beautifully written.
