You say I'm the best you ever had
In friendship, love and trust
And that the feelings you have for me
Are so much more than lust

You say I help you through bad times
And make everything all right
I keep you happy through the day
And hold you through the night

You say I own your heart and soul
And keep them locked with mine
And that there's nothing you like more
Than our hands intertwined

You say you need me desperately
And you love me more than life
You gave me that special ring
To symbol becoming your wife

You say it's us against the world
And we're surely going to win
Because we have a love that's true
And burns deep from within

You say we're meant to be together
It's written as destiny and fate
You say I'm the best you ever had
And it's because I'm your soul mate ©
