Dissolving Love 10-3-06©

by Amanda Clayburn   Dec 1, 2006

A sharp curse you laid on me
I bled from the inside
Burning in my soul
Passion to forget
My body slowly dissolves
My skin
My meat
Then my veins
I shake and tremble
Like I had a disease that poison me
Then you leaned toward me
And in your tangy whisper
You say the words
Crush my soul once
And I’ll eat you alive
