Everyday Broken Hearts 10-31-06©

by Amanda Clayburn   Dec 1, 2006

She was looked upon as a frown
All she wanted was to be kept warm
How could hearts be broken everyday
Why cant you repair yourself
She walked in the open
Light flashes in the air
Pressing winds held her up
A rain drop fell on your face
Cleaning the dirt from your cheeks
Cold glassy pond you step on
The trees so frozen
Lifeless has made them onto the Decembers day
She slipped and cried
How could heats be broken everyday?
Lips wanting to be touch by you heat
Neck spread out to be slip on the surface
A cheerful smile you make
By the sight of his face
Touched palm to palm
Fingers clinched and pressed
The glassy pond spill over
Both of you fell in
Wiping each other drops away
Then he was gone
By the cold December day
How could hearts be broken everyd
