One Wrong Move

by silence   Dec 1, 2006

One wrong move
Just one mistake
And it is an innocent life
That you take

So many left
Oh so many more
On this simple life
You've closed the door

You try to fix things
Try to make things right
But you're alone
All they want to do is fight

So it is your time
Your time to shine
You step into the light
And walk the straight line

The line to the gun
That sits on the bed
You want them to die
They want to be dead

You hear the gun
Go off in the night
Your vision in blurred
You have no sight

You realize now
What you have done
But it's over now
The pain has begun

Why couldn't they see
You were only a child
They were suppost to make
Your life worth while

But now you're 14 years old
With a gun in your hand
The bodies of your parents
Laid out on the land

You turn the gun on yourself
And take your own life
Maybe now you can be together
You, your dad and his wife
