God's angel

Scary new place
Got nothing but faith
I am all alone
I got to find a home

So I walk into a church
And ask god for help
It seems I'm on my own
For I only hear myself

I look around the room
And I'm hearing peoples prayers
I look over to my right
And I see a flight of stairs

So I'm walking out the room
And I start walking up the steps
My heart is beating so loud
It's beating out my chest

I'm looking straight ahead
And I see a bright light
It's so beautiful
Standing in my sight

I see her glowing face
I see her sparkled wings
She's so graceful
Oh how my heart sings

I see an angel standing there
Staring right at me
I'm thinking to myself
'Was god listening to me?'

She says to me, 'I know your scared,
New place, new people, I was once there,
But god will be there to make things right,
Just say a pray before you sleep at night'
