Little Silver Dolphin...

by michelle   Dec 1, 2006

A little silver dolphin
Swam, day and night
But that little silver dolphin
Really dreamed of taking flight

The little silver dolphin
Swimming day by day
If only that little silver dolphin
Could one day fly away

That little silver dolphin
Cut through the water with ease
But the sea, poisoned & dirty
Soon choked him in pollution's disease

So that little silver dolphin
Was left alone,drifting on
Left floating through the cloudy sea
Until he would be gone

That poor little silver dolphin
He could only ever dream of flying
Washed up on the shore,he was no more
Than the gray little fish left dying...

So beautiful with such a sad ending. I nearly cried. It goes to show what pollution does to the cratures beneath us. Well written, 5/5. Em

Awww...how sad. Makes you think about pollution though. Good job!
