I would love to tell you how i feel
if only i knew this was real

i would love to let you hear my thoughts
if only i knew that you would not leave

only if i knew it was what you feel too

if i let these walls down that i put up
promise me.... i wont have to make them stronger

I'm letting you get to know me more and more
yet there's something you've never asked me before

you sit there and talk to me
as i pretend not to be listening

i take in most of what you say
and make it a thought for the day

my friends say i seem happier with you
i agree.... just as long as you feel the same way i could stay

if you felt the same way
would you promise me the feelings in which you don't say?
