Your whole life is made up of
Searching and understanding
From when you're a kid to when you're an adult
You're searching and understanding

When you're a kid
And your mom tells you not to touch the stove
Because you'll burn yourself
You have to understand that she's right

When you're an adult
And your relationships don't work out
You search for reasons why they didn't
And try to understand why they didn't

As we grow up
We learn through searching and understanding
We also search for ourselves and why we're that way
And understanding why we're the way we are and why

Without searching and understanding
We wouldn't know anything
We wouldn't be anything
We wouldn't have life and grow up
