Eight Reasons Why People Shouldn't Fall in Love

1. Love poems almost always sound the same, but are even worse after love has left the author.

2. People are blinded by love; it is all they see and care about, so they miss out on reality and the beauty of life.

3. Most do not know what love is. It is no a feeling, all warm and fuzzy. No, love is not selfish, but people are.

4. It is used as an excuse to be dependent and weak, an excuse to sevre all other friendships, and an excuse to make mistakes.

5. People often buy love. They say you can't, but its easy for some people. Chocolates, roses, diamonds.. the works.

6. Love is too common; it should be a once-maybe-twice-in-a-lifetime deal. I see a sythesized "love" everyday, and I can't help but laugh.

7. Love isn't common enough. Not the passionate, romantic love, but a love for all human kind, which is something that is in lack today.

And lastly..

8. Love is too wonderful to forget after its gone. Despite the hurt its caused, you will always long for it again.
