Girls in a Laundry

by **MIMI**   Dec 2, 2006

A young teen irish girl, walking down the street,
A young boy approaches and there eyes did meet.

They stopped and had a chat, and soon began to kiss,
The young teen irish girl, felt within her bliss.

From that day forward, they met up everyday,
Nothing stopping them, or getting in their way.

Soon they became lovers, no longer just friends,
But it took a turn for the worse and there relationship did end.

The young teen irish girl, got sent to a laundry,
And become a dispicable face of her community.

She suffered the abuse, and the torture of the nuns,
She was living a life of hell, and she had nowhere to run.

Made to think she was dirty, but really she was in love,
But because she was a single mother, she wasnt enough.

Now that she belonged to an asylum in dublin,
Her heart crys every night, of this life long suffering.

The young teen irish girls, who suffered this abuse,
Were the disgrace of the community, what a horrible way to lose.

The young teen irish girl, took her life away,
never to return to the magdalene asylum, the torture caused that day.
