Can't bring me down

Many have tried but no one can bring me down

They thought they could kill me with their words, but I am still around

They told me to just quit

But look at me now I am making it

They used to laugh at me right in my face

Now they are dieing to be in my place

They used to show me so much hate

Now all they do is try to emulate

They told me that in life I would not get far

But look at me now I am on the long road to becoming a star

Their harsh words used to hurt me back when I was a little girl

But it doesn't matter now because I am on top of the world
