Inside Your Mind [For LuAnne]

by Twisted Heart   Dec 3, 2006

Inside your mind, the beauty lies
In words that spill out on the page
Of love and laughter, heart and soul
They fall so lucid, with such grace.

Inside your mind are words you write
To ease the hurt of love's embrace
To send your thoughts out of your soul
In hopes that pain can be erased.

Inside your mind, we wish to linger
To feel the comfort of your thoughts
As we pass among the pages
And see the depths your write has brought.

Inside your mind, you pull so freely
The dreams that fill your loving soul
And as you sit in sweet revelry
From a pen, your feelings flow.

A constant recollection of
The memories inside your mind
Enchanted by life's mysteries
With a touch of eloquence combined.

Just wanted to leave you a comment to tell you how much I appreciated your last two comments and the constructive criticism which I will work on. One poem I knew didn't have great flow, and the other I just didn't change it, but I will now.
On a more personal note, I don't share my name with people. It's nothing personal, but I don't go to chat rooms or email ppl I meet over the internet. I love this site but those are parts of it I don't partake in. So I hope you understand if I remain anonymous...because it's hard to know who to trust. You know?
But thanks again for all your comments, and LOL those poems were inspired because of your work. lol I just got in this poetic mood and I'd read some of your stuff, and was like, "I'm gonna create something really good." lol So thanks again!
