Dead at 15

by Amanda Jackson   Mar 23, 2004

Death
Nothing but a 5 letter word
But it can creep up on you when you least expect it
You could be in your car,
Looking up at starts,
Or even on the planet mars
We all have to face it
It will come sooner or later
That’s what I keep telling myself
But damn you were only 15
You still had your whole life in front of you
But only if you knew
That he was going to run that light
And crash into you

Dead at 15

Did I tell you thank you
For taking care of me
When I was all messed up and blue?
Dead at 15
I love you!
Thank you so much for being there for me
When I cried and just wanted to die
I never got a chance to express these feeling to you
But now it’s too late

Dead at 15

Did I tell you how much I appreciated your shoulder to cry on?
What if I didn’t?
It’s too late now
I never had the chance to tell you
How much I cared and loved you
