In four more days
It will have been a year
An entire year without you
Whom I held so dear

Another lonely Christmas
Without you to confide

Washed away in the tide

Canyons have been carved
From the tears on my face
Blurring any rationality
Stuck in this sorrowed place

The joy of Christmas season
Is one I cannot find nor see
