I seem to write a lot
Feelings I have for you
With you so far away
It’s all that I can do

As each day that goes by
The distance seems to grow
But so does my love for you
I’m not sure you really know

Each morning when I rise
I stop to think of you
Hoping you have a good day
In all that you may do

In the middle of the day
I sometimes drift away
Wondering what you are thinking
Wondering what you would say

Each night before I sleep
I look up at the stars
Wishing you well
No matter where you are

As I close my eyes
Dreaming of your touch
I just want you to know
I love you so very much
