This Girl

by Bleedin Throu   Dec 3, 2006

You honestly thought I was the one to be played.
Well maybe you should think again.
You think you should give it a whirl.
How about this young girl.
You seemed friendly at first.
In the end it was all for the worst.
You sweetly said these three words to me on paper.
That's how you made her turn into a hater.
You ignore this girl you thought was the one.
Everything came right undone.
You cut this girl down.
You pushed her further than the ground.
Defeated and helpless.
To you it could really mean less.
She stared at you the next day red in the face without a doubt.
Could you just tell she just wanted to scream and shout.
But, she remained calm and quiet.
This girl never wanted to start a riot.
She showed a lot of frustration.
During the day she lost her whole concentration.
You looked at her with confusion and dismay.
You wondered how this girl got that way.
This girl full of hate and rage.
She didn't think it could happen at this age.
You walked up to her after the last bell.
You at last know how she fell.
You tried to figure her out all the time.
She told you she was fine.
She never thought you would be one to deceive.
She didn't before but now she believes.
You lied to me.
Turned your back on her and now she sees.
Never to be tricked again.
She walked away and thought of what could of been.
