Empty Black Clouds

by manic moments   Dec 3, 2006

The black clouds moving in the sky
To touch the heavens as hard as the try
The sagging silver linings, full of tears
Empty of joyful cheers

Broken seal, it rains down red sorrow
Bring tears to eyes, and brows to furrows
Hearts to a stop, smiles to and end
Lies and mistakes made of friends

Flaws, promises, rights, mixed together
Made into a hard shell of forever
The outer shell of an empty soul
The mace of my bowl

Empty clouds still in the sky
Reaching up as hard as they try
Bring the red sorrow to faces
And bringing anger in many places

Flaws of a silent mind
Childs laughter so hard to find
Weeping bare the right words
The white dove is only a bird

Girth and right no longer needed
Hatred and danger decreeded
Not feeling the right to hide
Deep down inside

Empty sky, not a cloud drifting
All the heavy lies, sifting
Broken summer's rain of red
Where have those dull clouds fled?
