My love, forgive me he begged

by forsakendisaster   Dec 3, 2006

He told her it was over
That if she wouldn\'t stop for him
Then she didn\'t deserve him
She walked away in silence,
Never turned around for one last look
All day he thought about what he had done
How could he have thrown away all they had
Leave her when she probably needed him.
He ran to her house
Walked in to tell her he was sorry
He couldn\'t be without her
He walked through the room
No sign of her was present
Cracks of light shown through the bathroom door
Which was locked up tight
He knocked and knocked but no reply
He broke it open to such a sight
She lay on the floor in her own blood
Deep gashes on each of her delicate wrists
A message engraved into her skin:
\"I loved him\"
Tears filled his eyes
He picked up the blood stained razor
His world was shattered at what he read
Scratched upon the piece of metal his very own name
The sorrow that filled his heart
He didn\'t last too long
A sloppy note written in red
\"I can\'t go on without her,
How could I have been so selfish
Turn my back on the one I loved
Just because she needed help...
I don\'t deserve to be forgiven
I can only hope for one more chance with her...
Now I go in peace to lay for ever by my love\"
