The Ballerina.

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   Dec 4, 2006

Precious toys dancing on one floor of tile,
Twirl, twirl, dance, dance, as fast as you can,
Promenade with pride, promenade with style.

So precious, move about with beautiful grace,
Dance with your heart, little girl, never give up,
Quickly move against your thoughts - your only race.

Listen to a soft song within your young mind,
The melody plays deep, beating with your heart,
Your dancing quells all - your eyes nothing but blind.

Hum softly to yourself, move gracefully,
Twirl, twirl, dance, dance, as fast as you can,
A graceful ballerina; you must believe

In yourself, Promenade with thoughts in your head -
Gentle, innocent, beautiful heart is lead.

Very sweet poem. but i dont think it as one of your best. i do not have a specific reason persay. but it just didnt seem amazing to me. it doesn't deserve a 4.0 though. so i will upvote it.. i do think that you shoudl reread this one. work on it a little. some of the lines seem long. or something. i can't i dont know. grr. its just something about it. =\
