Kiss of Steel

by Fixxxer   Dec 4, 2006

Come sink with me in my pool of despair.
Let the darkness fill your lungues if you dare.
Feel all my pain and taste my tragedy.
Hear your pulse fade as you die inside of me.
Open your eyes and see nothing but black;
reminding you of everything that you lack.
Playful days and the colours of autumn.
Memories of light never reaching the bottom.
Realize there is no hope for the hopeless
and no existence of death for the lifeless.
For the heart may beat while the soul sleeps
and a face may smile while the mind weeps.
But one cold truth that's evidentily real
is the bittersweet soothing kiss of steel.

    Wow, every line of this piece is so powerful, absolutely effective. The atmosphere that you created is so dark, with excellent and vivid imagery. Whole piece is captivating, from the beginning to the end.
    5/5 from me
