What is the difference?
How have I changed?
Why isn't he still calling me?
Could someone please explain?

I've noticed you've been treating me
Like a records that's been scratched
A photo that's seen better days
Or a tire that's been patched

I thought I was getting there
I saw the light at the end
But something pulled me back
Back around the bend

This time I won't hold it in
I'll show you what its like
I'll scream till I feel better
I won't give in this hike

Take a walk in my shoes
Along this rusty plank
See what its like for me
Why life's meaning is blank

Please comment and vote it would mean a lot to me, i wrote this a while back after i broke it off with my ex for playing me, he said we would still b friends after i was useto the whole thing i was fine but he ignored me n just took me down the road i promised i wouldnt enter again. i just felt depressed n alone.

    Very good poem. It's got a great use of imagery like the rusty plank, being pulled back around the bend, and the WHOLE 2nd stanza. great job, though it's sad...

    It is a very powerful piece. Excellent flow to it.

    If a guy is playing you then he probaly isn't worth the effort.
