Snow Angels And Sunburn

by Cantchangeme   Mar 24, 2004

Leave this place
Never return
Spite the sky
Let it burn

Leave this time
Forget the past
Save the worst
For the last

I wake up every morning
Lost and alone
And open my window
The sun is gone
Walking on the clouds
Walking on glass
My feet bleed impurity
Let the time pass

I watch my bloodshot eyes
Looking at me
And now I’m crying blood
I start to see
Bullets feed my brain today
I don’t bleed
Snow angels and sunburn
Water the seed

Walk this path and pay the toll
One more night
I know that the sun is gone
I have a light
The noose is out of order
As I go down
Smiling all the way to nothing
Repeat to drown

Ice cold water in front of my face
I struggle with the demons inside
Do I really want to die in this place?
Dieing here, it was ages since I died

So you sit at home
There you will stay
But please remember
Someone dies today

So once again I’m sorry to disappoint
You wont see me swing from your tree
Twisting your knife inside me, no point
You took my body and mind, but not me

As I sit here number in hand
Once again awaiting my turn
My soul will always live
In snow angels and sunburn
