Death's Song

by Viv   Dec 4, 2006

My life's been falling to pieces for too many long years,
Life is said to be the greatest challenge,
Yet death is our only reward.

Tell me why I should suffer,
Endure misery and pain for so long,
When my reward is ready to be taken.
Don't speak to me while I sing Death's Song.

We live to die, and die to live, but why?
What are we living for, our reward?

No one can change my mind,
Death's Song bellows sweetly in my ear.
I have earned my reward,
I choose to live to die young
Rather than die to live long.
