Glowing Embers

by goddess-glamourpuss   Dec 4, 2006

Fire burns brightly
day and night
illuminating hearth
with warming glow.
Time passes.
Hearth grows dim
only token fuel added.
Once great pyre
reduced to ashes.
Yet
is there hope
for as coals are raked
once again
faintly
glowing embers

Very vivid. the imaginary seemed to come alive off the screen.

    The flow went well also.

Nicely written, short and nice choice of words. I thought the structure was a little off, I think it would be better if you broke it up into stanzas, but that's just my opinion.
