I slip into shadows

I feel myself falling
Into a world inside myself
Darker and darker into this hole
As my fears begin to take hold of me
My heart flies to my throat causing me to gasp
I begin to suffocate in my own fear, as I feel the life leave
My body grows cold and I shiver with fear of the unknown that lies before me
A scream escapes my mouth tho’ it came not from me
I slip into shadows
