Naked Seasons

by LadyPearl   Dec 5, 2006

Pale naked snow drizzle down the sky
Snowflakes dance upon a painted surface
The once green world turns to a hazy white
Lost inside a rural winterland bliss
The ground sparkles pure in frozen crystals
Cold chills stab beneath a closing door
My eyes stare through the open windows
As seasons morph again as before

The sun rose higher upon the pink horizan
Ice shatters, snow melts into a strange blanket
Covered in brown and rising green dots of life
Turning shadows back into a portrait of silk
Buds blooming out the tips of reaching trees
Seeking the necture of summer's palace
Dead leaves crumple under the scorching sun
As a sudden gust of wind swims across the blue abyss
