Deadly Rose

She was a geek
Most of them would say
Nobody even knew her name
Except her name was May

She has a crush
On the popular boy in school
She was so in love
Nobody thought it was cool

She would sit
Behind him in class
She would stare
As he just walked past

She would go home
Dream about being his wife
To be one together
Share each other's life

Everyday he never noticed
About this girl called May
Thought it would be funny
To play a prank on Valentine's Day

He sent her a rose
"You are the one for me
Come share my life
And live in harmony"

She was confused
When she received this note
She was so excited
About what it wrote

She ran up to him
Thinking she was the one
She felt so complete
Life filled with sun

He just laughed
And walked away
She was so hurt
Didn't know what to say

Even though she was hurt
She received more
She just sat all alone
With her heart sore

This love of hers
Turned to a violent rage
The beast inside of her
Came out of it's cage

She went to his house
And ended his life
Then she Killed herself
With the bloody knife

In their blood
Lay the rose
The rose of death
Which he chose

They were never,
Together in life,
Now they are bonded,
On the edge of a knife
