There goes her innocence

by UNDERESTIMATED   Dec 5, 2006

Secrets, Secrets,
Lies within her life.
No more trust in his eyes,
Soon figured out he wasn't worth her tears.

She lived in her dreams,
But was heard through her silent screams.
Her fears intensified, but she can't stand up and testify.
Shamed and confused, trapped within,
Her life was with her girls until she met him.

The truth of this lie, couldn't be shown,
But she loved him, this truth must be told.
She told his lover, but had self doubt,
To her she was sinned, couldn't help herself.

To all who must know, she hated being her,
But when he held her close, she couldn't shed a tear.
She saw it in herself, to break from this lost heart of misery,
The night she lost it all, she found out it wasn't meant to be.

To many times she kept it all in, standing on the bridge between her life and his.
A life of uncertainty, a life of fear and undesirable romance.
She took a chance and risked it all,
To fall in love, to be held in his arms.

She left all these thoughts, and saw him that night,
Took a chance and let the feelings take flight.
She thought bout him so much, that she thought she had fallen for him,
But you see she missed the signs and now shes lost everything.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned.
