Into the poor man's soul

by Lance Hardy   Dec 5, 2006

Pale blue windows
Doors into my soul
The love that I want
Is my only true goal

You stare at me clueless
I'm cold as stone
The truth is my weakness
Must keep feelings unknown

When revealed, I'm broken
Lost deep in my head
The pain ever present
This is all that I dread

So screw it, I'm silent
To the girl that I've met
There's no more to say
No future is evident

No... way. I like the eyes reference in your first paragraph, but yours ar so much more electric.
