My love song

by Shelly   Dec 5, 2006

If I had to write a love song it would be about you
All the moments we spend together everything that we do
Thoughts of you, invading, overtaking my head
Coming home every morning to that unused bed

The times we spend together laughing in your room
Lying there together under the bright midnight moon
The sun must come up do I really have to go
My feet are rebelling they walking too slow

This is my love song
What does it mean to you
This is my love song
Is it too much to chew

So you think im sexy and you think im bad
What am I doing am I making you mad
Im not enough for you, for you to want to keep me
Please open your eyes why don't you want to see me

This is just another love song
Written from me to you
This is my love song
What are you going to do

Her strings they still pull you further away from me
This confusion consumes me hides what I need to see
It's like running into a solid brick wall
Just keep running till eventually l can't take it no more

My head hurts and my heart is sore
There's this burning desire deep in my core
Im falling deep, into this great abyss
When I am gone will it be me that you miss

Are you sick of this love song
Do you hear what im saying
Are you sick of my love song
Every night I'll keep praying

Put your fingers on your keyboard and play me a tune
Make it soft and simple it will all come to you soon
And now you know im falling, how does that make you feel
Does it make you sad to know that you can give me nothing real

Im sick of my love song
Im so sick of you
Im sick of these love words
When there's nothing left to do
