I Loved A Stranger

by Sourav   Dec 5, 2006

I loved a stranger
Strange, but I did
Now losing out my strength & power
Alone here to bleed

I gave my every emotion
Gave my every dream
But love taught a hard lesson
Transition of laugh to scream

I tried to make her happy
Wanted to make her bright
Seems I've to try for an eternity
This is just a beginning of an endless night

And night comes with its dark magic
I wander like a discontent soul
Do you think it's destruction & tragic
But love should take its toll

And I kissed a stranger
Exotic, but I did
Now losing out all my benevolence & desire
Nothing more to exceed

Very sad poem of love. The imagery you have stired with your words is great.

And night comes with its dark magic
I wander like a discontent soul
Do you think it's destruction & tragic
But love should take its toll

This stanza is excellent. Great word choices.
