Unspoken Love

by LuvLyLynn   Dec 5, 2006

As two lovebirds start breaking apart,
one leaves another with a broken heart...
As she watches him walk away, everything
around her seems to turn black and gray...

As she's left there, standing in confusion
and tears streaming down her face,
knowing that she'll never again get
to feel his warm embrace...

As she wants to follow after him as
the heartache has already begun,
wanting to tell him that she loves
him and that he's the only one...

As two lovebirds start breaking apart,
one has to leave with a broken heart...
As he leaves and walks away, filled with
anger and sadness but he wants to stay...

As he keeps walking and never looking back,
not wanting to see her tears because
his confidence right now is what he lacks...

As he's hurt and feels the pain inside,
walking away from her was the only way
for the heartache to hide...

As years go by and they still
think about the past,
wondering what if they ever told their true
feelings to each other, would what they have last...

As they were only good friends
from the very start,
the feelings that they had for each other
only grew bigger deep within their hearts...

But as he had to leave not wanting
toever say goodbye,
they both gave each other one last strong
embrace while trying hard not to cry...

So I guess at the end through all of this
their hearts are still a little broken,
I guess that's what happens to two
people when their love is never spoken...

This is a great poem, very well written. the only thing you can do is break the lines better,
for example, the first line should end after APART,
other than that it is a great poem, and 5/5 from me.
