You are gone

by Leah   Dec 5, 2006

You helped me throughout the worst times in my life
But now I am all alone, with thoughts of the knife
Stopping cutting was the hardest thing ever
You told me you would be here to help me forever
And yet you are gone, you left me
Now these urges are so strong I canâ??t get them to flee
Staring at the razor blade on my chair
Cut, deeper than ever, boy I would not? dare
Placing it between my delicate fingers, I cut
Blood flows out, so calm, so relaxing but
I still can only feel a tingling sensation, I am still so numb
Cutting many more times, hopefully feeling will come
The pressure is released, I feel so alive
For it is the sight of my blood, for which I thrive!
