I held your picture in my hand
Knowing, now, you understand
Your words, they healed my broken heart
While everyone else wanted to rip it apart

The pieces torn, the remains were scattered
I just couldn’t deal with my poor heart shattered
So I had tucked it away, for no one to see
I didn’t want anyone to want to love me

But then you came, wielding your magic key
You charmed me with your eyes, can’t you see
You stole my heart when you stole my soul
I asked myself how I could ever be whole

But now I’m not worried, you’ll always be there
For once in my life, I’ll have some to care
You won’t break my heart, you’ll help mend it so
That for now, our love, the whole world can know
