Stars Are Just Teardrops

Away so far
A fragment of hope
One star at night
A guide
Momentary peace
A dying flame
Of how you fall
And still can shine
Shimmer and glisten
Standing out
Among the dark
The purple backdrop
Surrounding life
Never fails
The starry sky
A marvelous dream.

(I know the title has nothing to do with the poem, but I liked the title anyways. I'm not sure if I put this in the right category though, so please tell me if I need to move it. Thanks.)
