I Wish

I sit down on a rock
to think about my life
and what I wish would change
I sit on this rock,
This ordinary rock
and imagine life if I could
I'd be a popular girl
a strong girl
I play all the sports
kind of girl
but I'd go back
a little while
just a little while
a few years ago
until we had to work
I'd have dragons
and unicorns
And any other thing
the imagination can conjur
I sit on this rock
this ordinary rock
and imagine life if i could
and would find the courage
and should find the ability
to change my life
and make this
my one and only wish
and so I shall wish
to make this my goal
everything I do
and everything I am
live as I once was
and once could
and now am
I wish.
