Borrowed Lives Are Gone Forever

by EMO_IS_LOVE   Dec 6, 2006

Too many days
they were filled with her sorrow
People think she is happy
Deep down she is not

To borrow one's life
is simply horrid
Hers is gone forever
never coming back

It happened at night
On a warm summer night
She was walking home
From a friend's party

Turned the corner and--CRASH!--
She falls
onto the cold, hard pavement
In the middle of Savannah

without a warning
she's gone
no one knew
until the next day

a man saw her
"look here, call 911!"
but it was too late
for she was gone. . .
