Where were you

Family's supposed to be there for you
know matter what you do
so where were you on that day
that i needed you most
you said you had better things to do
How do you think that makes me feel.
One night you didn't come to pick me up
so i ended up walking home in the dark
some guys came by
and told me to go for a ride
i told them no
and they beat me til i would go
How could you not see
that you hurt me so
why did you lie
for on this day i was left to die
you blamed it all on me
but the fault was all yours
because you put everything before family.
